Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Detailed Walkthrough (in progress)

Introduction

Welcome to the Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous detailed walkthrough! I am running several characters and races through the game from start to finish to give the most detailed picture of what you can expect. Riddles are solved, puzzles are answered, and the consequences of various decisions are explained, including the decisions in dialogue boxes.  There are constant updates to the site as new characters achieve new milestones, so this will be a while to complete. Enjoy the journey!

Mandatory Disclaimer - Before we continue, this is a major spoiler of everything that I can discover to spoil. If you want to learn the game and solve everything yourself, read no further. Of course, you came to the walkthrough for the spoiler content, so that was kind of a waste of time telling you that, but I feel better now.

General: The enemy NPCs and creatures seem to have random treasure so lists of what they have will not necessarily be accurate or complete. They do indicate what type of treasure to expect though. For instance, a character might have a scroll of Owl's Wisdom one time, then Bull's Strength the next. Loot that is lying around seems to be consistent and should match what I've written here. Later in the game when the opponents are encountered constantly, I will switch to just saying "General Treasure", or "Standard Treasure" so that I don't bog down your reading. Special items that are magical or quest related will still be detailed.

Startup

At the beginning of the game, you choose your difficulty, then your character. There are over 160 character/sub-character classes to choose from, or you can select one of the six prebuilt characters to play. All of my characters for this walkthrough are played at Normal difficulty, with experience distributed to all party members equally. I am playing the prebuilt LG Fighter character, a LE Wizard, a CG Ranger, a CE Rogue, a True Neutral Druid, and a True Neutral Tiefling Cleric of Balance. This way I can test different choices in the game and give a more complete picture of what you can expect.

Tip: If you create a custom character, any Weapon Focus feats you take will guarantee that your character will have that weapon in their inventory, and it might have extra attributes. I took WF with Longsword and Dagger as a ranger, and I got cold iron versions of each.

Tip: If you are overloaded so you can’t travel on the world map. Just drop a bunch of stuff (it doesn’t matter what) and go to the exit point. You will then be given the option to gather all of your treasure and continue on.
